ABSTRACT
Population in West Java Province according to Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Data Provinsi Jawa Barat 2014
as many as 46.029.668 people. Based on data from BPS, unemployment in West Java reached 1,79 million people
or 8,72 percent of the total workforce, the poor as much as 4,48 million people or 9,57 percent. Therefore, it
is necessary to make a breakthrough to reduce unemployment and poverty. The decline of unemployment and
poverty in West Java Province will have a big effect on the economic development and prosperity of society in West
Java. The Provincial Government of West Java in the Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD) 2013-2018 seeks
to improve economic problems including overcoming unemployment through increasing community productivity.
Policies are issued to provide assurance and assurance of community existence in developing entrepreneurship
through the One Hundred New Thousand Entrepreneurial Printing Program. This program is intended to explore
the potential of people’s skill and ability to generate local potential to be ready to face global competitiveness.
